More Progress

This week is passing quickly. I'm tackling a variety of projects, trying to get caught up from the past few months of not being up to it.

The wardrobe project is nearing it's end. I'm down to figuring out a system to match slips to skirts and dresses, coordinating purses and footwear. Another thing is trying on all of my slacks and jeans and marking which are to worn with flats and which with heels. I've weeded out even more clothes, and in some parts of the closet, have space between the clothes hangers.

The ceiling is painted in the front room, a lovely leaf green. Painting the walls and trim is next. Turquoise and teal just did not work with the northern light coming through the window. I believe the room will feel more welcoming with the color change.

I learned to navigate sidewalks and cross streets at four way stops this week. My O&M is really knowledgeable when it comes to safety. Also, my OT taught me new methods of knife handling. I celebrated my newly acquired skill by slicing and frying potatoes for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow I hope to finally get out on the etrike. Since I've gotten better I really have a bad case of cabin fever. I need to just get out, buy and enjoy a soda under the shade of a tree, and be somewhere that is not here. Even if it's only for an hour or two, it will still be good for me.
